I LOVED this story. I read it few days ago and last night I reread it while playing the Cohen song (which I love btw). I enjoy all of your stories, but this one hit the spot. Fantastic!

I got your note today about this story, but I had already earmarked it on VAMB.  (On the side, I am glad you are on "Pathfinder" as some of my favorite stories and authors are there.  Seems appropriate.)  Just finished reading it, in fact, and enjoyed it tremendously.  I was sure I had the plot down early on, and I was right, but your words make it worth the reading.  Without them, there is no investment in the story, and, trust me, I got involved.  One more time, thanx again for a wonderful story, made that way by the writer, not the topic or characters.  Or the sex, for that matter!

As to your other note, I am glad you had a warm and productive vacation.  Visiting your cats?!  Ah, I knew there was something I liked about you.  I also am a cat person, even swayed my husband and in-laws in that direction.  As you're close to being a vet, I wish you were close geographically as well as I have a cat w/ CA and diabetes, another w/ bone CA, and a third w/ seizures.  But they are 14 y/o and have had a good life so that whatever time is left is bonus.  Thank G-d we treat animals better than people in this country - well, at least the end of life dignity bit.  Time to treat people that way also.

39 chapters for your BSG fic?  Whew!  Well, remember if you want a lot of feedback to post them separately. 

My school starts in a couple of weeks.  (I just do it for fun, though.)  I've missed the interaction w/ kids (around your age, I suspect!) and the stimulation the study brings me.  Philosophy and religion courses are my current fads - trying to figure out theodicy - Yeah, right, like that is possible!
