"Have you had any luck with that leprechaun yet?" he teased.
“Shut up Commander.” She growled back at him. “Who knew that programming this thing would be so difficult.”
“Kathryn, it just has to jump up and yell ‘Happy St Paddy’s Day’ periodically. It is not like it is going to have to perform neuro surgery.” Chakotay smiled down at the red head.
“Yeah, but I am the Captain. This is the only thing that Tom assigned to me.” She growled at him. “And just whose idea was it for me to ‘volunteer’ for this honor?”
Chakotay had the decency to look embarrassed, eyes darting around the room.
“I only mentioned that you might be interested in assisting in this party in order to raise crew morale.”
Kathryn arched her eyebrow at him, retaliation promised in her eyes and attempted to slide past him.
He pinned her in his arms and nuzzled her neck.
“C’mon Kath. Don’t be made at me.” His voice caused delicious shivers of desire to run down her back. “Let’s go to our quarters and after I have gotten my fill of you, I will come back and help you fix this thing.”
“You’re on, Commander!”
