Brilliantly written, plot was gripping, just fantastic!!
That was absolutely heartbreakingly superb.
I would lvoe another couple of chapters or maybe an epilogue or sequel.
It is such an unusual storyline, that it got me gripped for hours.
I loved the off hand planning and the Maquis hand signals were an excellent idea.
Seven was priceless as was Tuvok.
Thanks so much for sharing this.
An excellent story, Cheshire, well-plotted and a wonderful read. You've managed the difficult task of keeping the characters true to form yet ending up together the way they should have been. I find it hard to believe this is your first story, and I'm certainly looking forward to more. Many thanks for sharing.
I think it was extremely well written. Just enough tension to keep you reading until the end -- which I've always hoped for. When's your next installment?
Superior work, I can't believe that your first fic. Not possible! That was one of the better action stories I've read in ages--you had the crew behaving intelligently and creatively as a real team. Good emotion. No cheap "solution" (cop out) at the end (as was so often the case in canon). Very impressive work. This could have been an ep on the show, if they had allowed quality work to be filmed. Very impressive solid work--definitely looking forward to more.
oooh, very good.
Look forward to much more
I've just finished this and I'm sitting here completely gob smacked. That was bloody amazing. I don't think I've read a story that I've enjoyed so much in ... years probably.lol I was totally riveted and couldn't stop reading. The characterisations were spot on and you managed to depict the intensity and cruelty of their torture without it being grizzly or gratuitous... which made it all the more terrifying. So clever.
You maintained the tension throughout and I felt like I was with them both all the way through. I was transported...
You had me laughing in some spots and the tears welled in the scene on the bridge with Tuvok when she thought she was going to die. Heart wrenching stuff.
I wanted to cheer the crew on and B'Elanna's hug in the holodeck was just perfect. *yes!*
I hope you've got some more stories brewing away there. I'm looking forward to more. You have a true talent and this was such a treat. Bravo.
cheers and congratulations.
Lise.
