You and I seem to agree/fixate on so many of the same things. But you do it so much more lightly, and have us loving the characters rather than hating them :) So well done, Chesh!

Oh, the bad memories really struck a chord. You did them beautifully. I had chills at this part: “But I did betray her.” Chakotay looked up at the Doctor, his eyes haunted. “I ordered Tuvok to kill her.”

How many times do you see one of the characters throwing up and then a few minutes late kissing someone or otherwise ignoring the gross fact that they just vomitted??? (Sorry, Petpeive, I'll control myself now.) ;)
I love you. Seriously. KL is absolutely right. It'd be worth prostrating myself at your feet for more fic like this one. (Only 'cause I already know what happens next, mind you) ;)
