This was supposed to be a babyfic but ended up being another lets mess with Chakotay's mind fic. Written at the request of Cori, who wanted a story where Chakotay is not happy about  Kathryn being pregnant, but comes around in the end.

FREAKING...AWESOME! That was seriously one of the best things I've read in the longest time...serious, heart-wrenching...and a happy ending, too. Fantastic and so well written I was enthralled. Wow, you're talented. LOVED it!

Ohh! Seduction never done quite so well before! Quite well done. I almost choked along with Chak. You painted an amazing picture, felt like I was right in the room with them! I always loved that little passage from Pathways, and have been dying ever since to see a tiny sequel. *Sigh*. I can die happy, now. Wonderful, thanks!

Author's Response:   Well, thank you. But I hope you're not planning on going anytime soon, LOL!

Post Endgame. There’s a conspiracy afoot – the captain needs a hug.

Thank you once again to Elem for the beta. Her patience and kindness are phenomenal.

"She'd cried more in the past month than in the previous seven years. It was terrifying, but liberating as well." I really, really loved this line. That summed up the entire experience, both in the DQ and upon returning home, in just two short lines.

Dearly loved this. You have talent, without question. A very well-rounded story with details that just made this come alive and resonate. And I'm sorry if that sounded flat. It was meant to be a glowing review, and I can't wait to read more from you. Thank you.

Author's Response: Thank you for your kind words! I appreciate your vote of confidence! :)
Chapter 1: Chapter 1
Toothache by splv [PG13]
[Reviews - 7]
Past Featured StoryIt all started with a toothache. No ordinary toothache mind you-the bone jarring, ear thumping, screaming out in agony kind of ache. The kind that you read about in works of fiction but never have to endure because this is after all the 24th century and of course we all have perfect teeth.

So glad you posted this...and I think my favorite line of this was when she'd spaced Tuvok, telling HIM to breathe...ROTF...this was awesome and so enjoyable ;)

Wow splvy! That was the darkest thing...so sad! Took me a minute to get who she was talking to, but when I did...ouch! So sad. And understandable.
